Does Copywriting Work On eBay?
May 5, 2006 on 2:34 pm | In Marketing | 2 CommentsIt’s been awhile since I’ve sold on eBay, so I’ve used my fledgling copywriting skills to test out a different way of doing eBay listings than the majority of listings.

The telling of stories to sell the product, is always mentioned by the gurus. Check it out.
The average price for one of these is $50, so I’ll wait to see what this one goes for.
I got a bid in the first 4 visits of the page, which was nice.

Aaron –
Do people buy these USED for around $50 on eBay?
A hair curler is a fairly personal item, and a lot of people I know would be as reluctant to buy someone else’s hair curler as they would to use someone else’s hairbrush.

People buy anything and everything on eBay.
The lady that ended up with the curlers was thrilled to get them. Crazy I know. But true.
